In today’s video I share two software tools I made for the channel that allow you to install SteamOS to ANY Internal or External Storage Device!
With these tools you can even install SteamOS on a USB storage device and use it to boot into SteamOS on a completely different gaming PC or handheld!
This means you can even install SteamOS on legacy hardware now!
If your goal is to install SteamOS both tools can be used interchangeably.
The first tool is a version of the community SteamOS custom install script with the added feature of being able to select the installation destination.
The second tool is an updated version of Valve’s SteamOS repair script that can be used to both repair your SteamOS installation and perform a fresh SteamOS installation on any storage device connected to your gaming PC or handheld.
